The Clock Tower

This amazing Clock Tower is in the center of Basseterre.
The city has 2 main centers. The Circus, is geared towards tourism purposes. The Independence Square, which contains the cathedral, the courthouse and most of the older buildings.
The Berkeley Memorial stands in the center of The Circus in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis. The memorial features a drinking fountain as well as a clock. There are four clock faces, each one facing one of the four streets leading to the Circus. It was built in honour of Thomas B.H. Berkeley, a former president of the General Legislative Council in the 1880s.

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between usability and appearance. I must say you have done a superb job with this. Also, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Safari. Exceptional Blog!
